This was the 10th year for the Race for the Cure in Tyler. More than 6000 people attended the event to help raise money to find a cure for Breast Cancer.

This year our featured celebrity was Tyler Christopher from ABC's General Hospital - he plays Nickolas Cassadine. It was a great time and the ladies just loved him!

It's like an annual tradition, kicking off the holidays early. Jordan's Plant Farm is the North Pole of East Texas. There is room after room of decorations for ideas for the tree and the home! Jordan's Plant Farm is located on Hwy. 42 south of Henderson.

Each year MIX 93-1 dedicates 2 days of programming to help raise money for sick and injured children right here in East Texas for the Children's Miracle Network Radiothon

MIX 93-1 along with CBS 19 put on the first Slamfest for East Texas in March of '06 at TJC's Wagstaff Gym
